Puzzle Overhaul

  • Modified or remade ~27 levels to achieve a better teaching / difficulty curve balance

  • Decorated most of the levels

New script draft (not recorded or implemented)

  • Presents the narrative as the kid retelling the events of the game, with the kid’s older self taking on a narrator role

Audio queue system


Minor fixes / changes

  • Kid can now pick up the cat

  • Text indicating controlled character now matches color of controlled character

Bug Fixes

  • Holding flower pot and then interacting with pail now creates a beanstalk

  • Moving off of a timer tile at 1 no longer kills you

  • Switching back no longer sometimes requires multiple key presses

  • Beanstalk behavior fixes

  • Death to fire no longer counts the level set progress when it shouldn’t

  • Can no longer go into placemode when you’re not holding anything

  • Cat swipe no longer sometimes scoots objects by 2

  • Characters and objects now move faster

  • People can hold control inputs to move more fluidly

  • Goal no longer brings you to next level too abruptly

  • Cat now falls with a crate she is resting on

  • Crate on top of light object now deletes it

  • Crate on top of cat now resets level

  • Resetting level no longer increases level counter

  • Levels no longer load 3 times instead of 1

  • Multiple level sets appear sometimes when only 1 should
